3 year old death grip!
iM LAUGHING SO HARD BC THE BROTHER IS STARING AT HER LIKE “OMFG” AND SHES STANIDNG BACK THERE HOLDING HER HANDS LIKE “i never knew what i was capable of, my powers are here”
i wish the mom didn’t turn away for the best fucking part.
This song sickens me. Okay, okay, it glorifies being happy with who you are and a size does not define you but she constantly repeats lines like: “I’m brining booty back, go tell them skinny bitches that” and “she said boys like a little more booty to hold at night.”
I mean the lyrics clearly preach not being insecure about your body image but then what about the girls that have a small frame? What about them?
Honestly, everybody is insecure about their bodies and these lyrics make it worse for tinier girls because they don’t have the “booty” and boys won’t like them. Thousands among thousands of girls are struggling about feeling good about their body. This is not right. Skinny shaming needs to be stopped, its as bad as fat shaming.
Believe it or not, if you are curvy or small, you are perfect just the way you are built.
Another issue I have with this song is that it makes it seem that girls only want confidence to please boys. To any guy listening to this song, that’s not true. I want to feel good about myself, for myself - whether that’s with big boobs or small boobs etc. It’s not about ‘'boys like a little more booty to hold at night''… err, what about young little girls who have self-esteem issues? Is their sex life the root of it? Eh, no. Think twice before this song gives you a confidence boost, if it does at all. She really had to compromise the genuine aim of this song to get it so popular.
